Front End Developer Intern (React Native)

Role OverviewBegin is a growing technology company focused on building intuitive, user-centered digital products. This is a part-time, fully remote Front End Developer Intern (React Native) role with flexible timings, suited to students or early-career developers. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to build and maintain mobile application interfaces for social and dating products, focusing on usability, performance, and consistency.ResponsibilitiesImplement UI components using React Native and Expo.Integrate REST APIs and handle loading, empty, and error states.Write clean and maintainable TypeScript code.Translate Figma wireframes and mockups into functional screens.Break large screens into reusable components.Test features on physical Android and iOS devices.Participate in code reviews and document work for future reference.RequirementsFoundational skills in TypeScript and React Native, including hooks and state management.Familiarity with building responsive mobile layouts using Flexbox.Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.Ability to translate design files into accurate, working screens.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Reliable internet connection and a machine capable of running React Native tooling.Access to at least one physical Android or iOS device for testing.SkillsReact NativeTypeScriptExpoFigmaREST APIsBenefitsStipend: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month.Flexible schedule.Fully remote work environment.Mentorship and opportunities to work with contemporary tools.
