Chief Technology Officer

Mira (@mira) is a personal AI agent that acts from your messenger.

The agent works inside Telegram across personal and group chats with zero setup, helping users get things done, including scheduling meetings, summarizing discussions, creating content, and coordinating plans, directly within one of the world’s largest messaging platforms.

You'll be joining Mira at a critical growth stage — we're building AI agents that serve millions of B2C users and enterprise clients. As CTO, you'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and high-load distributed systems, making decisions that directly shape the product's future. You'll lead a team of 4 engineers and be the technical voice at the leadership table.

Team & Stack: TypeScript, Restate, Kubernetes, AWS. Small but strong team — everyone ships fast and owns their work.

Challenges: Designing and scaling AI agent infrastructure that handles high-load B2C traffic while keeping latency low and reliability high.

Expectations: You move fast, think in systems, and know how to balance technical excellence with product velocity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow the engineering team (currently 4 engineers), setting technical direction and culture.

• Architect and oversee the development of AI agent systems — both high-load B2C agents and complex multi-agent pipelines.

• Own the full technical stack: TypeScript, Restate, Kubernetes, AWS.

• Define engineering processes, code quality standards, and deployment practices.

• Collaborate closely with product and design to translate vision into scalable systems.

• Make key decisions on infrastructure, model selection, and agent design.

• Hire and mentor senior engineers as the team scales.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping AI agents or LLM-based products in production.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and distributed systems architecture.
• Experience with Kubernetes and AWS at scale.
• Deep understanding of high-load B2C systems — latency, reliability, scalability.
• Proven ability to lead and grow engineering teams.
• Ability to move fast without breaking things — you've done 0→1 and 1→N.
